This painting was a finalist in the West Torrens Art Prize 2022, and sold in the exhibition.  THe painting celebrates bird watching - both the feathered and metal kind! Kevin enjoys bird watching in local wetlands near the airport (Apex Park, Breakout Creek). Here he is on Tapleys Hill Road looking towards a departing plane while eight species of birds vie for his attention.
