Jenny completed one large textile piece for the Leaves project- being approximately 1.5m x 1.2m.  The linen piece was painted with acrylic inks which were then fixed using heat treatment.  

 

With Jenny's permission, Lisa Conolly cut this into three long pieces, each being about 1.5m x 0.4m, and each of these was framed using pleats to create a wedge shape for the ground spiral Leaves installation.  Blue denim was sewn on to create loops for ropes to be threaded for installation. Cotton crochet chain stitch edges were added to the sides to take pegs.
